Quantitative and Qualitative Research Methods
Quantitative and qualitative research methods are mostly contrasted as representing two distinct worlds. In the quantitative domain, qualitative study is perceived chiefly with suspicion. It is considered lightweight since it engages small samples, which cannot represent the wider population.

Apuke (2017) stipulates that qualitative study or research generally recommends 5 to 50 participants as an appropriate sample size to collect meaningful data. The first stage of data collection will involve conducting interviews, which will include two forms of interviews. Personal interviews will be held by utilizing computer applications or software such as face time when proximity and travel are an issue to the participant. Application interviews are set to last approximately 45-60 minutes, and actual narratives interviews will last between 20-60 minutes (Boddy, 2016). All interviews will be recorded through a digital voice recorder and will later be analyzed, numerically coded, and transcribed.

The informed agreement process will involve supplementary information concerning the research’s intended audience and offer respondents a wide range of confidentiality options. I will use a post-interview form of confidentiality to inform participants of any risks associated with participation when conducting research. First, I will inform participants of their rights to help them withdraw from the process and review the material. I will outline how the findings will be distributed and whether participants may expect any financial benefit from the study.
